It is not surprising that this Reserve is one of the best kept secrets within the Musher community. What seems to be a net of endless, well groomed trails lead you along roaring rivers and idyllic landscapes. Alone with your team of dogs, a peaceful silence surrounds you. as you speedily travel through out of this world scenery. Truly an unforgettable experience!

Day 1 Mauricie National Park
On your arrival at Montreal airport (or if you are already in the city) we will collect you and transfer you to the Auberge le Montagnard. This wonderful log home is located on the shores of the majestic Saint-Maurice River. Meals included this day is Dinner only.

Day 2 (30 to 40 km)
Enjoy a lovely Breakfast and transfer to the base camp. Welcome by your host and trail guide. After receiving all the necessary winter outwear gear, your guide will introduce you to the art of mushing. Each participant drives his own sleigh and team of dogs. After getting to know your team members, this peaceful, but very exciting adventure begins. Lunch en route. Experience a unique feeling of speed and quiet on snow covered trails as your mush through a magical scenery. Feeding of the dogs upon arrival at today's destination. Dinner and lodging in a lumberjack camp. Meals included this day are Breakfast, lunch and Dinner.

Day 3 (30 to 40 km)
Its morning again and time for Breakfast. Once you're all set, the adventure continues. Mush alongside idyllic rivers and frozen lakes. Enjoy the spectacular views. Now that you have mastered the techniques, let your dogs run freely and just feel the wind and the sun on your skin. Lunch en route. The afternoon takes you on trails uniquely made for dogsledding. Arrive at your nights accommodations in the late afternoon, a rustic lodge. Meals included this day are Breakfast, lunch and Dinner.

Day 4 (30 to 40 km)
Breakfast first thing and then today's journey takes through a region with a very dense animal population. Maybe you can recognize one of the many prints on the snow? Lunch en route. Sadly, as you reach the base camp, the time has come to part with your new found friends. Transfer to the Auberge Le Montagnard, where a well-deserved relaxing evening awaits you. Meals included this day are Breakfast, lunch and Dinner.

Day 5
On this final day you awake and enjoy Breakfast before transferring to Montreal airport for your flights home or if you are arranging a short stay in Montreal we will transfer you to the accommodation. Meals included this day is Breakfast only.
